Water, Sports Drink or a CamelBak, fitness elastic strap, towel, yoga mat.
No special equipment is needed.
If you can handle it, eat something very light like a banana, or a fruit smoothie.
Water, water, and of course more water. Stay well hydrated and drink plenty of water the night before class. Also, start your day with a large glass of water. Drinking water first thing in the morning will help jumpstart your metabolism.
Dress according to the seasons. During the spring and summer months wear shorts and a cotton shirt. The cotton shirt will retain the moisture from your body to help keep your internal core temperature down. During the winter months try wearing tights, long sleeves, gloves, and a windbreaker. You can always take off the jacket if you get hot.
Before beginning a new fitness program always consult with your physician first. Once cleared the program is designed to meet your specific needs and ability. I will not give you more than you can handle.
