Week 39: Reminder Challenge!
What do some of the most successful people do to keep themselves on track?
Before new lifestyle habits become “automatic” in your life, sometimes you need to go a little above and beyond to remind yourself of your goals and keep them front of mind.
One way to do this is to use external reminders instead of “trying to remember it.”
Placing little reminders around your home and office can really make all of the difference in the world!
Here are a few simple suggestions to help you stay on track…
• Post-Its! – This is the simplest and most common way to remind us. Write down what you want to remember and be sure to post little reminders all over the place!
• Computer Screen Saver or Phone Background – Take a pic of something that reminds you of your goals (or a fav inspirational quote) and save it as your screensaver or phone background.
• Wear a Ring or Bracelet – Let’s say one of your goals is to practice more gratitude. If you wear a special bracelet, every time you look at this bracelet, you think of something you’re grateful for!
• Put it In Your Planner – never leave anything to chance. Always schedule everything in your planner. Literally block out the time for it!
It can be challenging to stay on track to reach your goals while getting pulled in the many different directions life throws at you.
Having that outside reminder to get you back on track could be just the key you’ve been looking for!
