Books can take you places you’ve never imagined. They improve the quality of your life, and take you to new heights personally and professionally… not to mention help keep your brain healthy and even help you to reduce stress!

They can be a great escape while at the same time help you slow down and become more present.

Reading has been a big part of my life, and I wanted to share a few of my favorite books that have had the biggest impact on me in my life!

Here are my Top 6 Favorite Books:)

  1. How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
  2. Become a Better You by Joel Osteen
  3. The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino
  4. The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz
  5. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
  6. The Love Dare by Stephen Kendrick

2-bookwormYour challenge this week is to choose a book (from this list or not) that will help you improve one area in your life. It could be anything from personal growth, Faith, family, finance, fitness, free time such as cooking, underwater basket weaving…literally anything that interests you!

Not a reader then start with small books and work your way up from there. This is coming from a guy who is dyslexic, hated reading at one point in my life, and couldn’t get two words out without stuttering until the age 30.  There are so many great books out there.  My suggestion is to pick one that will add value to your life and to the lives of people in your circle of influence.

When you’re reading- make sure you’re truly focused on the book and don’t have your cell phone right next to you!  The goal is to be present while you read so you can get the most out of your book.

Are you IN for your challenge this week!?  I’d love to hear your choices. Let me know in a comment below.
